Armed Robbery Investigation, June 13, 2013

On Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 9:53 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 100 block of East 13th Street in Reserve for the report of an armed robbery. The victim was a 43 year old man from Homewood Place in Reserve. No one was injured during the incident.
The victim told deputies that he was talking to a female that he did not know when two men armed with guns approached him from behind. They robbed him of his wallet that contained cash and identification cards. Then, they fled to the back of East 13th Street. The unidentified women called 911 to report the incident but left before deputies arrived on the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
